Wölffer Hosts 2016 Harvest Party October 8
Wölffer Estate Vineyard is hosting their annual Harvest Party on Saturday, October 8 this year and it’s shaping up to be a fun day of live music, family activities, delicious food and, of course, fantastic wine!
Taking place between the vines and on the lawn at Wölffer’s beautiful Sagaponack vineyard and winery, the event will be fun for the whole family. Featured events include barrel-rolling, grape-stomping, a wine-making relay race, pony rides, a petting zoo, hay rides, and more. In addition, this year Wölffer has added a lederhosen and dirndl contest, where kids and adults will win prizes for showing up in their best classic German attire. The winning adult will take home a magnum of Wölffer’s legendary and sold out Summer in a Bottle Rosé, while the younger winner receives a gift bag with goodies such as sunglasses, a T-shirt and more.
Wine fans won’t be disappointed either—along with serving their various wines and ciders throughout the afternoon, Wölffer is raffling off a massive, three-liter bottle of Summer in a Bottle Rosé. And all event attendees over the age of 21 are automatically entered to win!
Singer-songwriter Lynn Blue is playing live, providing a soundtrack to the afternoon.
The 2016 Wölffer Harvest Party is open from 12–5 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at Wölffer Estate Vineyard (139 Sagg Road) in Sagaponack. General admission tickets are $145 ($125 for Wine Club members) and $80 for children 2–12. No dogs are permitted at this event. Call 631-537-5106 or visit wolffer.com for tickets and info.
