Paris Jackson Signs Major Deal with Calvin Klein
Hollywood’s latest “it” girl Paris Jackson has signed a huge, seven-figure deal to be the new face of Calvin Klein. According to Page Six, Jackson—the daughter of late Pop legend Michael Jackson—went to this year’s Met Gala as a guest of Calvin Klein and its new designer Raf Simons, where she debuted a gorgeous black dress by Calvin Klein by Appointment.
A source told Page Six, “This deal is to make Paris the new face and body of Calvin Klein. The deal—which is just about to be signed—is huge, worth…many millions. Expect to see Paris in huge ad campaigns and on many red carpets in Calvin Klein.”
Jackson is currently signed with IMG Models and has been gaining fame for the past several months, thanks to her Instagram account and high-profile appearances. Her red carpet debut was at InStyle’s Golden Globes party, and from there she went to the Grammys and Paris fashion week. She’s also graced the covers of several magazines, including Rolling Stone, in which she opened up about her father’s death. “They always say, ‘Time heals,’” Jackson told the magazine. “But it really doesn’t. You just get used to it. I live life with the mentality of, ‘Okay, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me. So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”
Jackson is just the latest “get” for the fashion juggernaut. Earlier this year, Simons ran an underwear campaign using the stars of the Oscar-winning drama Moonlight.
