Rocco A. Carriero and Remsenburg-Speonk Kids Send Packages to 106 Rescue Troops Overseas

Rocco A. Carriero Wealth Partners, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in Southampton is joining the Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School (11 Mill Road in Remsenburg) on Thursday, May 11 from 1–3 p.m. to assemble more than 100 care packages for local service members currently serving overseas from the 106 Rescue Wing at Gabreski Air Force Base in Westhampton Beach.

Before the students and volunteers put together the care packages on Thursday, the event will begin with a student assembly featuring a presentation about the Air Force and rescue teams. Councilwoman Christine Scalera and Councilman Stan Glinka will also be on hand to support the effort.

“I’m happy to have this opportunity to say thank you to our troops for their service and dedication to our country,” Councilman Glinka said.

“Service men and women make many sacrifices to protect our country and communities,” Carriero added. “We are excited to bring members of the community together to show our support and appreciation of our local service members.”
