The Ellen Hermanson Foundation presented its fundraising gala, “An Evening of Enchantment,” on Saturday, July 28, at the Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. The foundation honored Jodi Wasserman, member of the board of directors of Lucia’s Angels and Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. The event featured entertainment by illusionist and mentalist Alex Voz, cuisine by Jean-Georges, dancing to DJ Double S Productions, Mirror Photobooth NYC, and more. Jean Shafiroff, noted philanthropist, was the gala chair.
Funds raised at the benefit go to underwrite accessible mammography screenings and new state-of-the-art medical equipment at The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and its satellite locations in Hampton Bays and East Hampton.
