The Carmelite System’s Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence Ensures Premiere Senior Care in Palm Beach

With the world-class facility of Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence in West Palm Beach, The Carmelite System ensures the best of the best in senior care for the Palm Beach community.
“We have three levels of care in West Palm Beach,” President and CEO Patricia Gathers said. “We have independent living, we have assisted living, and we have skilled nursing. Our skilled nursing is about 132 beds, and it’s actually going through a renovation, which is very exciting for us. We 56 beds available in assisted living. And then we also have about 31 independent living units, which are at the very top of that beautiful building in.”
Situated along Palm Beach’s Intracoastal Waterway, this facility offers a serene and supportive environment where seniors can enjoy independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence embodies the Carmelite Sisters’ mission, providing seniors with both spiritual and physical enrichment in a welcoming community.
“It’s just a complete honor for us to have this opportunity to tell our story,” Gathers said of being the dedicated cause for the Palm Beach Power List event.
The organization’s commitment to compassionate care is deeply rooted in the legacy of Mother Angeline Teresa McCrory, who in 1929 envisioned a new approach to senior care that emphasized both spiritual and physical well-being.
The Carmelite System Foundation will be the recipient of 100% of the evening’s raffle proceeds at the Dan’s Papers Palm Beach Power List on March 5 at The Colony Palm Beach. Tickets are available at PalmBeachPowerList.com. Additionally, Patricia Gathers will be honored at the Power List.
