What’s the secret to creating a memorable wedding reception menu?
The secret to creating a memorable menu is to not stay inside the box. Give your guests something to talk about, something they’ve never seen before: a tomahawk carving instead of a traditional carving station; passed tater tots topped with crème fraiche and caviar; a charcuterie wall; duck crostinis served with blueberry bourbon smash shots; or oyster shuckers at a seafood boat during cocktail hour.
One non-traditional service requested was having a high-end barbecue station of freshly grilled lamb chops, fish and lobster during a cocktail portion, paired with specialty drinks and sides.
