What in the world is going on around here? I mean seriously, what’s the deal with the weather? There was a point yesterday when it was warm outside. Literally warm. I’m talking easily 60 degrees in Southampton. It wasn’t my imagination, I discussed it with several people and my car logged an outdoor temperature of 58 degrees.
Am I the only one that thinks January should be a little colder? I guess I’m not complaining about it, but…I mean…COME ON MAN! The Hamptons shouldn’t be this warm in January!
Today I talked about how “it used to snow” in the Hamptons as if it will never happen again with a random stranger I ran into this morning getting coffee. It’s hard to imagine, however, with the weather being this warm outside, that it is possible for snow to be coming. January is basically over, and lets face it, February always goes by quick. We haven’t had a single day of real snow out here this year. And there have been a lot of days where it has been ridiculously warm.
My favorite global warming joke is this: “According to a new U.N. report, the global warming outlook is much worse than originally predicted. Which is pretty bad when they originally predicted it would destroy the planet.” -Jay Leno
