Put on Your Hamptons Yamaka, It's Time for Hanukkah

Next Tuesday, the Jewish community of the Hamptons will be lighting the first candle to celebrate Hanukkah. And happily, kids will be opening one present per night as the celebration commemorates the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt.
In Sag Harbor you can celebrate at the Temple Adas Israel or at the Conservative Synagogue of the Hamptons.
Probably the most well known temple is the Jewish Center of the Hamptons in East Hampton (on December 18 there will be a holiday fair there).
In Westhampton Beach, which is the home to the Eruv controversy, there is the Hampton Synagogue, and in Riverhead there is the Temple Israel of Riverhead.
Go get your Hanukkah on!
