It may be winter, but there is still plenty to look forward to when it comes to the live stage. If you are looking for live theater and music, there really is nothing better than a night out in the Hamptons. Here are a trio of shows that we are looking forward to that are right around the corner or are currently playing.

Deathtrap: The longest running comic thriller in Broadway history is currently running at the Quogue Community Hall and is produced by the highly respected Hampton Theatre Company. Production of the show runs through Sunday, January 29 and it is directed by Edward A. Brennan. Deathtrap runs Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for students under 21. Visit hamptontheatre.org, or call (866) 811-4111, or 631-653-8955.

Tale Of Sea Womp: The Super Fun 61 Opera Company in Springs will present “Tale Of Sea Womp” on January 11 at Guild Hall beginning at 7 p.m. The production is done by fourth graders and is without a doubt going to be adorable, with 61 students of The Springs School will be performing. Directed by Kate Rabinowitz and Lisa Weston. Call Guild Hall for information at 631-324-0806.
