Costume jewelry has multiple forms and may be referred to as “cocktail jewelry,” “retro modern” and “fashion jewelry.” It’s stylish and trendy jewelry and very fashionable. Costume jewelry is full of life!

Animal jewelry has always been popular. Almost any animal, bird or bug you can think of has been incorporated into a fantastic, wearable design. You’re probably familiar with classic snake rings and panther bracelets, but what about owls and elephants? Have you considered wearing a sparrow or a dragonfly?

I am partial to auction or antique market finds of Victorian jewelry—they inspire my own updated symbol jewelry that I sell at Bergdorf Goodman. I particularly love serpent pieces and am thrilled that Rihanna has recently been wearing my Serpent Ring during her performances. It’s fun to wear animal bracelets, winged charms and jeweled snake rings—they are powerful talismans and have loads of intrigue and appeal.
