Gateway Playhouse Announces 2013 Season

By Scoop Team
2 minute 03/09/2013 Share

The Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County at Gateway Playhouse in Bellport has announced its summer 2013 season! This year’s lineup features an exciting selection of plays, all of which have also appeared as Hollywood films. The first wave of tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 27.

Here’s what to expect on stage:

Grease: May 22 – June 8

Young Frankenstein: June 12 – June 29

Legends in Concert: July 2 – July 20

Singin’ in the Rain: July 24 – August 10

Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story: August 28 – September 14

The Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County produces high-caliber theater and performing arts events, while also engaging and training the next generation of artists. It is a vital, local alternative to Broadway.

PACSC represents a significant new chapter in the Gateway Playhouse‘s 63-year history. The Gateway, founded in 1950, is the oldest professional theater on Long Island.

The Gateway Playhouse is located at 215 South Country Road in Bellport. Call 631-286-1133 or visit gatewayplayhouse.com for additional information.
