Joy Behar Presents at Bay Street Honors

Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theatre will hold its second annual Honors Benefit at East Hampton Point on Sunday, April 27. Hamptons resident Joy Behar will present awards to Bay Street supporters and “Hamptons Hometown Heroes,” including founding chair of the Bay Street board of trustees Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn of Bridgehampton Florist, and David Bray, one of Bay Street‘s original board members and founding partner of Alan Schneider Associates. Proceeds from the event will go to support the theater’s educational programming.
“Last year’s event took place in New York City and we honored Joy [Behar], Adrianne Cohen and John Downing,” Executive Director Tracy Mitchell said, noting that the honorees do “so much” for Bay Street all summer long. “The passion and commitment that these individuals give to us year after year, we couldn’t do it without them,” Mitchell said. “This is our way of saying thank you!”
The event starts with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and buffet followed by the presentation of awards, which will be kicked off by Behar, at 8 p.m. The cost is $175 per person or $300 per couple. Proceeds support the theatre’s year round educational programming.
