Southfork Kitchen Closes in Bridgehampton

It’s official, Southfork Kitchen in Bridgehampton is closing its doors for good.
The restaurant, which opened in 2011, was well-regarded by diners, food critics and the growing farm-to-table, sustainable food set, thanks in large part to Michelin Star chef Joe Isidori‘s fabulous cuisine and focus on “sustainable seafood and local produce, cheeses and wines. As the restaurant put it, “We visualize the East End of Long Island as a giant green market—everything we need is grown or raised or caught or baked right here.”
The restaurant, located at 203 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton, will become Fresh, a new endeavor with chef Todd Jacobs in the kitchen. Jacobs was the owner and chef at Tierra Mar and Atlantica in Westhampton Beach until 2009, though he continued to run Tierra Mar/Atlantica at the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach.
Southfork Kitchen had closed for the winter and was set to reopen in May.
