Lady Gaga Visits the Hamptons!

Superstar pop diva Lady Gaga is one of the few East Coast celebs who has mostly avoided the Hamptons, at least publicly, but the Fame Monster made a rare local appearance on Wednesday, shopping on Main Street in East Hampton and later eating dinner at Jerry & The Mermaid in Riverhead, which actually is becoming the hip and happening town it promised!

Any chance Gaga may have done some house hunting while she was in town? With Madonna, JLo and Hugh Jackman in the neighborhood, it seems Water Mill is the place to buy for celebs right now…though Riverhead is clearly on the rise.

Check out these pics from Gaga‘s Twitter feed, including one hilarious shot of Phil the UPS driver freaking out as she passes him on Main Street.
