Rock and contemporary folk singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin—widely known for her Grammy-winning 1997 single “Sunny Came Home”—performs at Suffolk Theater. Tickets are $45. Fourth Annual Art Groove
Art Groove featured 13 contemporary artists and a performance by Out East, an East End fusion rock band, followed by a dance party with DJ G-Funk. The artists are Tess Barbato, Beth Barry, Laura Benjamin, Barbara Bilotta, Fred Brandes, Lance Corey, Anahi DeCanio, Nadine Daskaloff, Frank Latorre, Geralyne Lewandowski, Michael McDowell, Joyce Raimondo and Ursula Thomas. Madeleine Peyroux is called a modern day Billie Holiday and an uncannily insightful interpreter of old classics and modern tunes alike.
