Last weekend, famous twin and Hamptons fan Tyler Winklevoss shared a frightening video on a certain social network. And no, it was not Facebook (well, not exactly).

The brief video posted to his @tylerwinklevoss Instagram account shows a shark fin ominously bobbing up and down in the waters off Montauk.

“Shark attack! #Montauk,” the famous twin wrote in the caption.

Tyler and his brother Cameron Winklevoss are infamous for their 2004 suit against fellow Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg, which claimed he stole their idea for the concept of Facebook.

The twin brothers went on to graduate from Harvard, and then compete in a men’s pair rowing event in the 2008 Beijing Olympic games, placing sixth. Now 32, the Southampton-born brothers have gained additional notoriety as investors in Bitcoin.

The Winklevoss twins were both portrayed by Armie Hammer in the 2010 film The Social Network, but their shark experience feels more reminiscent of a Jaws remake.

Tyler Winklevoss also posted shots of local fishing boats and the Montauk Lighthouse last week, and he’s previously shared pics of stand-up paddleboarding off Quogue Beach.

Watch his “shark attack” video below.
