Ice Skating at Southampton Golf Range Begins Thanksgiving
The ice skating rink at Southampton Golf Range, which made its debut in 2013, is returning for another season, officially opening on Thanksgiving Day.
The rink will be open for skating on Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Friday, jurnior hockey will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Then fron 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the rink will be open to the public. Drop-in hockey begins at 7:30 and continues until 9:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule includes a free demo skating clinic at 10 a.m. Public skate begins at 11 a.m. Skating instructors will give an exhibition at 4 p.m. Public hours will contine from 4:15 to 7 p.m., and drop-in hockey will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday’s hours are junior hockey from 8 to 10 a.m., public skating from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and open hockey at 7:30 p.m.
Following the holiday weekend, regular hours for public skating will be Monday through Friday from noon to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Junior hockey will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Men’s hockey is Monday though Friday, 7 to 11 p.m.
Drop-in hockey will be held Saturdays at 730 p.m.
The cost to skate is $10 for age 10 and under and $15 or age 11 and up. Skate rentals are $5.
