Sean Diddy Combs Arrested For Fighting With UCLA Football Coach

Note to self: Don’t mess with Diddy’s son. Rap star and business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who famously hosted Hamptons summer parties at his Georgica estate, was arrested yesterday afternoon at UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex where his son, Justin Combs, plays football. Diddy was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon (a kettleball), one count of battery, and one count of making terrorist threats.
TMZ reports that Diddy, called a “helicopter Dad” by UCLA staffers, was watching his son during practice while strength and conditioning Coach Sal Alosi was “riding Justin badly.” Diddy allegedly attempted to confront the coach in his office but was told to leave. Further, TMZ reports that, “Alosi snapped — going after Diddy with his hands…Diddy insists he grabbed a kettlebell and held it up in a defensive position…but did not attack with an intent to injure the coach.”
Combs was handcuffed and taken to the LA County Jail where he was book at 4:30pm. He later paid $50,000 bail and was released around 10pm. Campus police are investigating the incident. A court date is set for July 13.
Justin is not the only famous rappers son on the UCLA Bruin’s football team, Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg, is a wide receiver on the team this year.
