Their center is stocked with plants, seeds, annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, soils, mulch, stone, and quality tools.

Trimble’s of Corchaug Nursery Ltd. (20985 Main Road, Cutchogue; 631-734-6494) received the Best of the Best Nurseries & Garden Centers Platinum Award for the North Fork. Trimble’s has 4 acres of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, pottery, pond plants and display areas. They not only grow the majority of their products at their nursery but they are also dedicated to safe gardening practices.

The recipient of the Gold Best of the Best Nurseries & Garden Centers for the South Fork, Lynch’s Garden Center (175 North Sea Road, Southampton; 631-283-5515), is open every day of the week. Located in Southampton, Lynch’s Garden Center has a variety of flowers, plants, and garden ornaments.

Clarke’s Garden (416 Main Street, Greenport; 631-477-6770) won the Best of the Best Gold Award for the North Fork. A shop in downtown Greenport, Clarke’s Garden and Home offers potted plants, floral arrangements, annuals, perennials, and a selection of products to enhance the look of any home garden.

Based on the South Fork, Groundworks Landscaping (7 Toilsome Lane, East Hampton; 631-324-7373) was given the Silver Best of the Best Nurseries & Garden Centers. They help provide detailed landscapes and work in cooperation with their customers to personalize each design. The business also helps with installation and maintenance of the landscape.

Verderber Nursery (359 Main Road, Aqueboque; 631-722-4388), winner of the Silver Best of the Best for the North Fork, has been noticed as a leader in the trade for over 36 years. With three other locations on the East End, Verderber Nursery supplies a wide range of plants including conifers, shrubs, specimen plants and screening plants. They produce, install and sell to large whole-sale and retail customers.

Whitmore Gardens (26 Montauk Highway, Amagansett; 631-267-3182) was recognized with the Bronze Best of the Best Award for the South Fork. Whitmore Gardens is a full-service landscape and design installation service that works across the East End. They advertise a dedication to the needs of their clients.
