Nathan Lane Joins Cast of 'Carrie Pilby' Film

Carrie Pilby, an upcoming film adapted from Caren Lissner‘s 2003 coming-of-age novel of the same name, will co-star East Hampton’s Nathan Lane, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the title role, a prodigy struggling to adjust to the world after graduating from Harvard at 19, is Bel Powley, the English actress who was one of the Hamptons International Film Festival and Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch in 2014.

Lane will play Carrie’s therapist. Susan Johnson directs.
