Chelsea Clinton Pregnant with Second Child

Congratulations to Chelsea Clinton! The Hamptons fan and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their second child together, due summer 2016. Clinton announced the news on her Twitter account just before the holidays.

Clinton and Mezvinsky, an investment banker, married in Rhinebeck, New York in 2010. They are already parents to daughter and soon-to-be big sister Charlotte, who was born in 2014.

Proud grandparents and regular South Fork vacationers Bill and Hillary Clinton celebrated the good news with their daughter and son-in-law at New York City’s 21 Club last week. Page Six reports that the party, which also included Mezvinsky’s parents, indulged in magnum of Cristal that has been chilling in the famed restaurant’s wine cellar since 1997. 21 Club traditionally allows celebrities and VIPs to store wines, and the restaurant has housed bottles for John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Elizabeth Taylor, Ernest Hemingway and Frank Sinatra.

Will the new baby make his or her debut in the Hamptons this year? The second-time grandparents have spent the past few summers in the area. Hillary signed her book Hard Choices at Westhampton Beach’s Books & Books and East Hampton’s BookHampton in 2014. This past summer, the presidential hopeful also attended four fundraisers held in her honor in the area.

Chelsea and Marc joined her parents in the Hamptons this year, as the duo dined at the Palm in East Hampton in August.

Bill has famously stopped by the annual Artists & Writers Softball Game, held each August in Herrick Park in East Hampton. He once umpired the game while serving as the governor of Arkansas.
