Suffolk Theater has become the jewel of Riverhead, presenting a diverse lineup of programming and a steady stream of events. This 1933 art deco theater is also the only dinner theater space on Long Island, with a full menu and bar with local wines.

Back by popular demand on June 24 is Tribal Games 3. A fitness competition featuring some of the toughest workouts imaginable, this high-octane survival-of-the-fittest is not to be missed. Tribal Games is designed to be fun for all audiences, from enthusiasts to casual sports fans alike.

On July 8, head to Ultimate Elvis, a ’80s Vegas revue. This tribute to Elvis Presley’s fabled Las Vegas performances features a full horn section. On July 9, the 19-piece New Millennium Big Band presents Sinatra’s Swings Into Summer, an elegant evening of big band swing and dance. On July 14, check out The Mahoney Brothers in a tribute to the Beatles. This performance is part of Riverhead’s Alive on 25 festival and only $10. On July 17, Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees performs hits like “I’m a Believer” and more. Jay & The Americans hit Suffolk Theater on July 22, and interactive theatrical comedy Tony & Tina’s Wedding follows on July 23. Oldies fans shouldn’t miss The Drifters, featuring Rick Shepard and Shirley Alston Reeves of The Shirelles on July 29. On July 31, Deadheads will come alive with Dead on Live, a Grateful Dead tribute from Marc Muller.

The 11th Annual Long Island Comedy Festival comes to Suffolk Theater on August 4. For something completely different—and a little risqué—the Steel City Studs strip for the ladies on August 6. This fun and sexy event is perfect for bachelorette parties and girls’ night out. The beloved David Cassidy returns to Suffolk Theater on August 7, and the Lords of 52nd Street Billy Joel tribute band return on August 11. “Tears May Fall” when Freestyle Legends TKA hit the theater on August 25 for a special $10 show.

Suffolk Theater is located at 118 East Main Street, Riverhead. For more information on Suffolk Theater and for tickets to their great shows, check out suffolktheater.com.
