Join the Dan’s Papers Literary Festival on September 1
Join fellow scribes and book lovers at the Dan’s Papers Literary Festival! This celebration of East End literature and the art of writing begins at 4 p.m. (doors open at 3:30 p.m.) on Thursday, September 1 at Guild Hall’s John Drew Theater in East Hampton.
First, find out who will win Dan’s Papers’ 5th Annual $10,000 Literary Prize Competition, including the $4,000 Emerging Young Writers Prize for Nonfiction (provided by Alec Baldwin) and the $6,000 Literary Prize for Nonfiction (provided by Barnes & Noble) at the Dan’s Papers Literary Prize Gala Awards Ceremony. This annual event will feature keynote addresses by Pulitzer Prize-winning writers Carl Bernstein and Robert Caro, Emmy Award-winner Dick Cavett reading the winning pieces and a performance by Perlman Music Program alumni.
Admission is free and seating is first come first served. Reserved seating is available for Book Signing and VIP ticket holders only. Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail reception in Guild Hall’s Garden. Sponsorships are provided by Bridgehampton National Bank, Ben Krupinski Builders and Montauk Rumrunners.

Tickets for the Book Signing are $150/person. Includes a copy of each book, meet-and-greet signing with each author, reserved seating for Literary Prize Gala Awards Ceremony and admission to Cocktail Reception. Limited to 50 people.
