EHFD Conducts Live Burn Fire Training

On August 31 and September 8, the East Hampton Fire Department conducted two live-burn trainings at a house scheduled for demolition at 29 Passing Road. The object of the two trainings was to give newer, less experienced firefighters an opportunity to train in a live fire/heat/smoke condition in a real residence, all while under the strict supervision of experienced EHFD chiefs and officers, with personal safety being of the utmost priority.
