Farmland Partners Say Vote Yes on Proposition 1

Members of the Peconic Land Trust [PLT] and the Long Island Farm Bureau [LIFB] came together on October 13, 2016 to urge voters to VOTE YES on November 8, for proposition 1, in support of the Peconic Bay Region Community Preservation Fund [CPF]. The CPF has raised over $1 billion for preservation programs that are protecting our agriculture and natural lands. Over 10,000 acres have been preserved through funds from the CPF across all five towns, of which 6,000 acres is farm land.
