'Vanderpump Rules' Girls Headed to Bravo's Summer House in Montauk

Did anyone wonder why Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder was in the trailer for Bravo’s new Summer House reality series? It turns out the SUR girls are headed to Montauk!

Check out tonight’s (Monday, December 12) episode of Vanderpump Rules to see how Bravo is convincing fans of the show to watch Summer House.

The scene/promo features Summer House stars and twin sisters Ashley and Lauren Wirkus visiting their “good friend” Stassi at Lisa Vanderpump‘s West Hollywood restaurant SUR, which happens to be the setting of Vanderpump Rules. After hostess Lala Kent brings the “towering blonde twins from New York” to Stassi’s table, the three begin talking about this exciting summer home in Montauk (actually Napeague).

Explaining why the twins are visiting, Stassi says, “We had this one really fun night out, and now we’re just good friends,” adding, “Probably because they like to drink as much as I do.”

The twins, who bring up their exciting summer in the Hamptons, ask Stassi if she’s ever been to Montauk. She hasn’t. “I have always wanted to go to the Hamptons, but I never got to do that,” Stassi says, noting that it’s something she’s wanted to do since she was a kid…because all kids dream of going to the Hamptons, right?

As the conversation progresses, it ever-so-naturally turns to the fact that Stassi’s birthday (June 24) lines up perfectly with the twins’ first weekend in Montauk. A trip is planned.

Of course it wouldn’t be a true party without fellow Vanderpump cast members and SUR employees Katie Maloney and  Scheana Marie, who’s never heard of Montauk.

One of the Wirkus sisters explains, “Montauk is like half the Hamptons, but it is like the best beach town on the east coast.”

Scheana, who says she’s down to go, admits to the camera, “I’ve never been to the Hamptons,” noting, “My vision of it has always been like this rich beach that all the New Yorkers go to in the summer, you go every weekend—your house in the Hamptons and you’re so cool—and I just didn’t grow up like that.” But it’s not stopping her from going.

“Cheers to Montauk!”
