The Southampton Pointe complex, at the intersection of Tuckahoe Lane and CR-39, has been in the works since 2006, but of course nothing ever runs quickly in the Hamptons. Southampton Town officials approved the site plan eleven years ago, but then Suffolk County had to sign off, and a planned development district approved and etc etc etc. As part of a PDD, 15 of the 50 units were set aside as affordable housing. Well, they’re finally available to buy by the public, represented by Mary Slattery at Corcoran, and while of course they’re way more expensive than was envisioned in 2006, ranging from $1.165 million to $1.25 million, we think that represents pretty good value these days. There are four configurations, with the cheaper option having 1875 square feet and the more expensive 2045 square feet. All of these have three bedrooms and 2 to 2.5 baths. Read more at
