Reopening For Summer 2020

Celeb Spot Nick & Toni’s

Starting its fourth decade in 2020, this restaurant is the East Hampton hub for classic, seasonally inspired dining in its Tuscan farmhouse style location. Reserve an outdoor table and engage all five senses from the sights and sounds to the delicious taste of the cuisine or alternatively order its cuisine to enjoy at home.

Independent/Southampton Social Club

Southampton Social Club

Southampton Social Club, created by Ian Duke and David Hilty, offers great dining, this year designed to ensure it is socially responsible as well as having one of the few cabaret licenses in the Hamptons. This enables the club to combine social-distance with the energy of people in its extensive outdoor gardens. Dining indoors and out will have a host of measures in place to maximize the safe enjoyment of the food, drinks, and music.

Independent/Southampton Inn

Claude’s Restaurant

Claude’s Restaurant at The Southampton Inn has been transformed to The Great American Picnic Place, open from 7 AM to 7 PM daily. Menus consist of all of your favorite breakfasts as well as sandwiches, salads, soups, and freshly baked sweets. You can take your picnic basket (with rosé or champagne, fruit smoothies, or home-made iced tea) to your favorite table: in the beautifully planted courtyard, on the pool patio, the lawns, to your guest room, or Agawam Park. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your old-fashioned picnic.

T-Bar Southampton

Now in its second season, T-Bar Southampton follows in the footsteps of its Upper East Side sister restaurant by putting a new spin on the classic upscale steak house. Conveniently located down the block from the Southampton train station, T-Bar Southampton offers guests innovative contemporary American cuisine amid a large outdoor terrace and garden, with outdoor dining spaced sensibly apart to make it the quintessential location for evening cocktails on those warm summer evenings. 631-283-0202

‘The Adventures Of Spike’

The new book by Bill Boggs, “The Adventures of Spike The Wonder Dog,” is the tale of Spike, an English Bull Terrier with a keen comedic eye for human foibles. He rockets to TV and internet fame after appearing on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” along with his master Bud, who hosts a local morning show in High Point, NC. Spike and Bud soon hit the fast track to bigger stardom when Bud signs on for a talk show in New York City.

Ben Widdicombe is also the only writer to have worked for the New York Post, TMZ, and The New York Times — an unusual Triple Crown that allowed him personal access to the full gamut of Hollywood and high society’s rich and famous, from billionaires like Rupert Murdoch, Donald Trump, and the Koch brothers, to pop culture icons Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. Now, in “Gatecrasher,” New York’s premiere gossip-turned-society writer spills the sensational stories that never made it to print.

‘The Chiffon Trenches’

André Leon Talley was the indomitable creative director at Vogue during the magazine’s rising dominance as the world’s fashion bible. Over the past five decades, his byline has also appeared in Vanity Fair, HG, Interview, and Women’s Wear Daily. This engaging memoir tells with raw honesty the story of how Talley not only survived the brutal style landscape but thrived — despite racism, illicit rumors, and all the other challenges of this notoriously cutthroat industry — to become one of the most renowned voices and faces in fashion.

‘How I Changed My Life In A Year!’

Straight-talking, honest and with touches of humor, Shelley Wilson shares her journey as she sets out to prove that being a 40-something, single mom with back fat and gray hairs isn’t the end of life as we know it. From fighting flab to writing a 50,000-word novel in 30 days, Wilson covers a wide variety of themes as she tackles 12 challenges in 12 months.
