State police are investigating a shooting on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation Saturday night.
On July 4th, police received a call of a subject shot at about 11:40 p.m. Officers found a 21-year-old man, who was not a member of the Shinnecock Nation, who was shot in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital for what police described as a non-life-threatening wound.
No further information was immediately available.
