Neil Patrick Harris Enjoys Hamptons Summer, Makes Netflix Deal

Neil Patrick Harris is enjoying his summer in the Hamptons.

The actor and East Hampton homeowner was spotted picking up takeout at TownLine BBQ in Sagaponack the day before he, husband David Burtka and their daughter Harper Grace were among the celebrities who attended an intimate dinner hosted by Lizzie Tisch and Naomi Watts at Tisch’s Bridgehampton home on July 30.

The occasion celebrated Michael Kors’s 40th anniversary in the fashion business.

Christie Brinkley, her look-alike daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook, Rachel Zoe and other guests reportedly noshed on popular summer dishes, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, seafood and salads.

Meanwhile, Kors was also seen on Etsy exec Debra Wasser’s yacht in Sag Harbor on July 31.

In other NPH news, the How I Met Your Mother and A Series of Unfortunate Events star has signed on to executive produce and star in Uncoupled, a new Netflix comedy series created by Darren Star—legendary creator of Sex in the City, Beverly Hills 90210, Younger, Emily in Paris and many more classic shows—and veteran Modern Family executive producer Jeffrey Richman.

According to Netflix, Uncoupled centers on Michael (Harris), who thought his life was perfect until his husband blindsides him by walking out the door after 17 years. Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares —losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-40s in New York City.

Sounds like fun!
