Greenport on the North Fork embarked on a historic milestone as it joyously celebrated its first-ever Pride event. The event, organized by the nonprofit LGBT Network, showcased a rich tapestry of entertainment, music and cultural exhibits, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and acceptance.

The vibrant festivities kicked off with a spirited parade, filling the streets with a colorful display of unity and love. Mitchell Park served as the epicenter of the fantastic festival, offering a space for the community to come together, celebrate diversity and embrace the spirit of inclusivity.

As the sun set, the energy soared at the highly anticipated tea dance, where revelers danced and reveled in the spirit of Pride. This groundbreaking celebration served as a powerful testament to the enduring strength and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community.
