Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope (CAHH) hosted a special Thanksgiving family event for over 100 people dealing with cancer at the Central Fire Rescue Station in Palm Beach.

Thanks to the generosity of Janet and Mark Levy, CAHH families each received a turkey or ham, pies, and a $200 gift card. Families also received Thanksgiving treats and stuffed animals to help bring cheer to the children during the holiday season.

Palm Beaches’ firemen and policemen were also on hand to ensure that the children attending had a memorable and fun time. The children had the opportunity to explore the station’s fire truck and patrol car and meet the Central Fire Rescue and Palm Beach Police teams.

The children also had a surprise visit when “Tom the Turkey” made a special appearance and photo opportunity.
