Local Barbecue Sauce for the Gods

Pete’s Endless Summer Barbecue Sauce is one fine sauce. We tried it last night on top of a homemade burger and highly recommend it. The sauce is a local brand from Sag Harbor and comes in a number of different varieties. Last night we went with the Sweet ‘N Sticky Barbecue Sauce for the burger and it was off-the-charts good, with an excellent symphony of sweetness offset with spice.
If you are looking for something to rub on meat and like a little spice, we also recommend the Rib Ticklin’ Rub, which is a loaded cajun spice. Perfect for a shrimp gumbo or if you want to spice up just about anything. The other day we dropped in a teaspoon of it into white rice to make a spicy dish. Mix that in with some grilled chicken and vegetables and you have yourself a healthy meal that will surely impress your guests.
Mouth watering yet? We thought so.
