Less than two weeks after his new MSNBC show, Up Late, was canceled, it was announced that Amagansett’s Alec Baldwin will be back with TV hosting duties—at least for one night.

On a special January 6 episode of Private Screenings on TCM, Baldwin will assume the hosting reins from Robert Osborne in a bit of a role reversal, as Baldwin will interview Osborne about his longtime career and two decades with Turner Classic Movies.

Baldwin has long supported the preservation of classic films and even cohosted TCM’s The Essentials with Osborne, which bookended discussions of a film around its airing on the classic movie channel, back in 2009 and 2010.
