Emily Thorne of Revenge Named Among TV Guide's Most Powerful Women

Congratulations to Southampton’s Emily Thorne Grayson (a.k.a. Amanda Clarke, a.k.a. Emily VanCamp) star of ABC’s hit reality show Revenge, for being named one of TV’s Most Powerful Women by TV Guide!

The blonde socialite — who was allegedly shot on her wedding night by her new father-in-law’s mistress! — has been known for her philanthropy, as well as her troubled past in juvenile detention for setting fire to the home of her abusive foster family. But true Revenge fans know her real story.

This resilient young lady has been through a lot during her time in the Hamptons. Her first engagement to hubby Daniel Grayson (which we heard ended because she was caught smooching on Montauk barkeep Jack Porter) began with the murder of his college roommate Tyler Barrol at their Labor Day engagement party. She was also reportedly with Amanda Clarke (yes, the daughter of Southampton domestic terrorist David Clarke) at the time of her death and survived the explosion at Grayson Global in NYC!

TV Guide notes Grayson’s martial arts skills and asserts that she’s basically a professional liar, which many Hamptonites have long suspected. Still, Grayson is quite the survivor, and we’re looking forward to seeing what she’ll do next.
