Stitch Southampton Launches Hamptons Fashion Resort Collection
Longtime Southampton residents Regina Kravitz and Rose Dios have launched a new fashion collection for the modern woman.
Fashion designer Kravitz and Dios, the founder and owner of the Southampton boutique Stitch, created the collection in order to provide women with fashion that reflects today’s fast-paced lifestyle and “go-to” items that can easily work in every woman’s wardrobe from season to season.
“Our line is designed with Stitch’s customer in mind and the vision of Stitch…easy clothing for a modern woman with more a sense of style than a dependence on fashion,” Kravitz says.
The collection, which is composed of more than 20 different silhouettes from Capri leggings to long halter Gala dresses, will be sold exclusively at Stitch Southampton.
“Our collaboration is about two strong, goal-oriented businesswomen whose ‘passion for fashion’ has lead us to create a line of practical but stylishly constructed dresses, jumpsuits and separates that are easy to wear, feminine, multi-functional, packable and affordable,” Kravitz adds.
Knits with spandex comprise the majority of the ReginaKravitz for Stitch line, which also includes lace, Italian printed silks, cotton clothing and novelty items.
The line also features European, or Alpha, sizes. Styles are designated 0-4, which spans extra small to extra large sizes. “Our XL is very ample as we want that customer to feel equally beautiful and confident in our clothing,” Kravitz notes. “We also include larger seam allowances where an item can be subtly let out without destroying the [item’s] overall balance.”
The Southampton boutique also plans to host a variety of charitable in-store events and promotions this summer: in a kickoff to the 18th Annual Hamptons Heart Ball on June 28, which featured an advanced preview of the ReginaKravitz line, Kravitz and Dios donated 25% of the evening’s sales to the American Heart Association.
