'Innocence' to Hold Hamptons Drive-In Premiere

While the average premiere is a glamorous affair in a major city, Innocence, a film with a Hamptons-centric storyline, is staying true to its plot and premiering in Southampton at the beach.
On Saturday, August 16, at 8 p.m., Innocence will have its own Hamptons drive-in premiere at Coopers Beach. Sunday, August 17, is slated as the rain date for the event.
Beckett, the teenage protagonist, relocates from Montauk to Manhattan with her father after her mother’s death in a surfing accident. Upon arriving at her new Riverdale private school, Beckett discovers the school is actually run by a coven of vampires.
The film stars Sophie Curtis as Beckett, along with Kelly Reilly, Graham Phillips, Linus Roache and East Hampton’s Stephanie March. It opens in theaters and Imax on August 29.
