Springs Home Decimated in Fire [PHOTOS]

A Springs home was decimated in an early morning fire Saturday that brought four fire departments to the scene.

Springs Fire Department was called to 787 Accabonac Road at 4:25 a.m. According to the fire department, firefighters found the house was “fully involbed with fire,” and called East Hampton, Amagansett and Sag Harbor fire departments to provide additional manpower and tanker trucks.

Three occupants of the house—a mother and two children—escaped the fire but were transported to Southampton Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, according to the fire department.

Firefighters were on scene for more thna two hours and the East Hampton Town fire marshal’s office responded to investigate.
