Hamptons Dining Dish: Long Island Restaurant Week, Fall Harvest

There are a few more days to enjoy Long Island Restaurant Week. Check out these locations for the three-course, $27.95, prix fixe menu: Almond in Bridgehampton; noah’s in Greenport; Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor; and The Living Room at c/o the Maidstone in East Hampton. Select menu items include: pan-roasted striped bass with celery three ways and veal jus, available at Almond; grilled Atlantic salmon with braised savoy cabbage, golden beets and grain mustard sauce, available at Page at 63 Main; and poached cod with mustard velouté, poached egg, baby carrots and sautéed salsify, available at The Living Room at c/o the Maidstone. Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton now offers a prix fixe menu with three different price points for diners to choose from. The menu is available Sunday through Friday (restaurant is closed Tuesday) beginning at 6 p.m. The sommelier will select a red and a white wine to feature each evening, available by the glass for $11. The Simple Dinner costs $30, plus tax and gratuity, and includes: Caesar or mixed greens salad; choice of any pasta entrée; and two scoops of gelato or sorbet. The N & T Classic costs $35, plus tax and gratuity, and features: Caesar salad or penne appetizer; chicken entrée; and ¼ tartufo. The Chef’s Choice costs $40, plus tax and gratuity, and includes: appetizer of the day; entrée of the day; and dessert of the day. little|red in Southampton is serving new menu items to celebrate the fall harvest season. The restaurant is open every day for dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m., serves lunch Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers an in-between menu Friday through Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. New menu items include: chilled poached shrimp and smoked salmon with dill, cherry tomatoes and Dijon vinaigrette; roasted cauliflower and radicchio salad with shiitake mushrooms, gruyere and apple cider vinaigrette; and seared sea scallops with mashed cauliflower, sautéed shaved Brussels Sprouts and bacon beurre blanc. 631-283-3309. littleredsouthampton.com.

Rowdy Hall in East Hampton is offering a dinner and a movie special, Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. Diners who order the featured ‘Rowdy Classic’ of the evening, will receive a complimentary Regal Cinema voucher. Cost is $20 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Each evening will feature the following dishes: Sunday is meatloaf served with mashed potatoes, gravy, baby carrots and snap peas; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is the Rowdy burger served with hand-cut French fries and a pickle; Thursday is moules frites, Cape Cod mussels steamed in white wine, shallots, garlic and a touch of cream, served with hand-cut French fries. 631-324-8555. rowdyhall.com.
