Billy Joel residency at Madison Square Garden is not ending any time soon—the Sag Harbor Piano Man just booked an October 21 concert, his 22nd monthly show in the series.
MSG adds another concert or two to the schedule whenever previously announced shows come close to being sold out. The venue and Joel have committed to keep it going as long as there is a demand, and there are no signs that the demand is diminishing.
Back in 2006, Joel set a record for the most consecutive sold out shows at the Garden, with 12 performances. He broke that record Friday.
The October 21 concert begins at 8 p.m. A presale for Citi credit card holders begins Monday at 10 a.m. The sale to the general public will begin Friday, January 16, at 10 a.m. Tickets range from $81.45 to $144.95 inclusive of fees. Purchase tickets at billyjoelmsg.com.
