Sag Harbor Piano Man Billy Joel‘s first 23 concerts at Madison Square Garden have sold out, so he’s just booked his 24th consecutive monthly concert there for Thursday, December 17.
It will be Joel’s 70th career show at the Garden.
Back in 2006, Joel set a record for the most consecutive sold out shows at the Garden, with 12 performances. He broke that record earlier this month.
MSG adds another concert or two to the schedule whenever previously announced shows come close to being sold out. The venue and Joel have committed to keep it going as long as there is a demand, and there are no signs that the demand is declining.
For December’s show, tickets go on sale Friday, February 6, at 10 a.m. Those with Citi credit cards have access to a presale starting Monday, February 2 at 10 a.m. Prices range from $64.50 to $124.50. Visit billyjoelmsg.com for more information
