East Hampton Town, Village Declare State of Emergency
East Hampton Town is under a state of emergency starting at 4 p.m. Monday, Supervisor Larry Cantwell’s office has announced, due to an impending blizzard. East Hampton Village is following suit.
“Residents are urged to refrain from unnecessary travel through Tuesday,” the supervisor’s office states.
Vehicles may not be parked on public roadways during the state of emergency, and are subject to towing for violations. Overnight parking in East Hampt0n Village is suspended. Any vehicles left in the roadway will be towed.
All emergencies should be reported to 911, the supervisor’s office notes. Non-emergency town police calls should be directed to 631-537-7575.

The East Hampton Town Senior Citizen Center will be open as a warming center for the duration of the blizzard.
