Revenge Top 5: Ways for Victoria to Wind Down on the East End
Poor Victoria. She lost her son, got kidnapped by an international crime magnate, found out her boyfriend had been plotting to kill her and almost got strangled saving the life of her arch-nemesis. Victoria told David that she needs to grieve over Daniel, but we all know that Queen Victoria isn’t going to sit in her study all day wearing black. Here are five real-life East End activities to help Victoria find peace.
Ladies Who Lunch at Topping Rose House – We all know Victoria loves her lunch dates, and Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton offers a special spa/lunch package on weekdays. Victoria can invite some of the bitchy socialites who used to worship her and use the afternoon to re-assert her dominance in the Hamptons with that signature passive aggression. (Monday–Friday; more info: toppingrosehouse.com)
Art Workshop at Parrish Art Museum – We’d imagine that Water Mill’s Parrish Art Museum would be one of Ms. Grayson’s favorite East End spots. The lovely center has film screenings, social events and educational opportunities. Victoria would most certainly enjoy an art class at the Parrish. An upcoming class, “Life Drawing with Linda Capello,” could be just the thing she needs – especially if there’s a session with a handsome young male model to “admire.” (Class begins on Monday, January 26; more info: parrishart.org)
Weekend at Gurney’s – Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa has a gorgeous view of the ocean, beautiful accommodations and high-end dining options. Victoria could take Margaux (who also needs to relax, honestly) and spend a weekend there, enjoying a lap of luxury the likes of which she hasn’t seen in quite a while. (Various special packages available; more info: gurneysmontauk.com)
Wine Tasting on the North Fork – We know Victoria loves wine, but we’ve never seen her head up to the North Fork for some tasting (although she suggested it to Pascal last season). There are plenty of different wineries to visit—we’d imagine Victoria would make an appearance at several different wineries and vineyards (and make sure to be ogled by her adoring public). Curl Up With a Good Book – Victoria is a well-read, articulate woman, and we get the feeling that she hasn’t had time to read much lately, what with the murder and kidnapping taking up so much of her energy. We’d like to point Victoria in the direction of BookHampton, which recently launched a home delivery service. The Grayson matriarch certainly loves being waited on and served, and getting a book delivered right to her door would boost her ego and help her get lost in someone else’s fictional drama.
