Amagansett’s Alec Baldwin participated in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Monday, answering a variety of questions and plugging his upcoming films, Mission Impossible 5 with Tom Cruise and Concussion with Will Smith.

One Redditor wanted to know Baldwin’s reaction to his depiction in the 2004 film Team America: World Police from the creators of South Park. The marionette version of Baldwin was not very flattering, but Baldwin took it in stride.

“I was honored. Beyond belief,” Baldwin replied. “To be chosen, from the ranks of tens of thousands of Hollywood Actors, to be the head of the Film Actors Guild. For me to be the head of the F.A.G. was one of the most meaningful honors of my career.”

Baldwin revealed that one of his favorite 30 Rock moments is when a ship captain accidently joined his character, Jack Donaghy, and Tina Fey‘s character, Liz Lemon, in marriage, because no one could understand what the captain was saying. he anjoyed enjoyed his episodes with the late Elaine Stritch, who played Donaghy’s mother.

He later added, “Working with Tina was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. She’s really very special. Very rare talent, very rare.”

Baldwin admitted that he can’t sing but he wishes he could so he could take the lead in a Broadway musical such as Guys & Dolls.

Someone wanted to know what Baldwin had for breakfast. It wasn’t the most interested question, but he answered it anyway. Baldwin said, “I had gluten-free Cheerios. I had my special granola that I had shipped in from the ski lodge in Park City, Utah. It’s one of my only indulgences. I don’t live in a penthouse, I don’t drive a Range Rover, but I have my granola flown in from the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah.”
