Hamptons Dining Dish: Restaurant Week Coming, Race Lane, Love Lane

The 13th annual Hamptons Restaurant Week will run from Sunday, March 22, through Sunday, March 30, across the East End of Long Island. Some of the participating restaurants include: North Fork Table & Inn in Southold; Touch of Venice in Cutchogue; Fresno in East Hampton and Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor. Fresh Hamptons in Bridgehampton is happy to announce the return of “family night Sundays.” Each week will feature a family-style dinner package, which feeds approximately two to four adults or two adults and two to three kids. Cost is $59, plus tax and gratuity. The menu, subject to change, includes: a large house salad with mesclun greens and balsamic vinaigrette; one whole-pan-roasted Raleigh Farms organic chicken, one pound of merlot barbecued braised all-natural beef short ribs or twice-baked local organic butternut squash; honey-glazed local organic carrots, local organic sautéed broccoli or roasted garlic whipped potatoes; and a warm homemade apple crisp. 631-537-4700. freshhamptons.com.

Race Lane in East Hampton serves dinner Thursday through Sunday beginning at 5 p.m. Menu items, subject to change, include: artisan salad with organic greens, Bartlett pear, dried cranberries, caramelized walnuts and chèvre; octopus with tomato confit, Kalamata olives, parsley and pickled red chili; old-school Bolognese with tagliatelle, fontina burro fuso and Parmesan; sea scallops with parsnip purée, chanterelle mushroom, baby zucchini and heirloom tomato; lobster mac and cheese; and warm dark chocolate bread pudding. 631-324-5022. racelanerestaurant.com.

Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck hosts super supper Sundays—diners may order a three-course dinner or two courses and a glass of wine, for $29, plus tax and gratuity. Monday is burger and a beer night. Diners may enjoy the LLK burger—grass-fed beef, cheese of your choice and a pile of garlic fries served with an ice-cold local beer. The a la carte dinner menu is available Friday through Monday from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Menu items, subject to change, include: chopped salad with Brussels sprouts, radicchio, endive, cranberries, almonds, feta and sweet lemon vinaigrette; Long Island shiitake mushrooms, goat cheese, herbs and homemade sesame-scallion crepes; braised monkfish with prosciutto and cherry tomato broth, roasted red potato and artichoke hash; herb-grilled skirt steak with bacon and Brussels sprouts hash and roasted garlic-mashed potatoes; and Thai-coconut curry chicken with white rice, fresh avocado and basil. 631-298-8989. lovelanekitchen.com.
