Time magazine has released its list of the 100 Most Influential People and a number of Hamptons residents and frequenters were on it, and on top of that a number of East Enders wrote tributes to honorees.

East Hampton’s Mariska Hargitay, best known for her role as Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, wrote a sweet and complimentary piece about Hamptons visitor Taylor Swift, who named one of her cats Olivia Benson.

Swift wrote about her kitchen idol, Ina Garten, whom she cooked with in her East Hampton kitchen last year.

Meadow Lane resident David Koch and brother Charles Koch were also in the Titans category, and presidential contender Rand Paul—who attended East Hampton Library Authors Night last summer—wrote a short tribute titled “Idea Men.”
