Monte Farber's Psychic Thoughts: A Hamptons Happening
My wife Amy and I are honored to know Samuel Waxman, MD.
He has been a member of Mount Sinai’s faculty for more than 30 years. He is the Founder and Scientific Director of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, dedicated to finding cures for cancer through reprogramming cancer cells. Since its inception in 1976, the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation has awarded more than $85 million to support the work of more than 200 researchers across the globe.
Our friends Pamela Morgan and Michael Trokel are chairing the event to raise awareness and funds for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. “A Hamptons Happening” will take place at the home of Maria and Kenneth Fishel in Bridgehampton on Saturday, July 11 from 6–10 p.m.
This special event is a highlight of summer in the Hamptons and features amazing food from more than 30 New York City and Hamptons restaurants, along with live and silent auctions. Marc J. Leder, co-CEO of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., and Bobby Zarin, chairman of Zarin fabrics, along with St. John will be honored. The event will also feature Mauro Maccioni and the Le Cirque Restaurant Group, and John Delucie’s The Lion and Bill’s Food & Drink.
