Brooke Shields to Emcee ARF's Bow Wow Meow Ball
The gracious and life-saving work done by the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) will be celebrated this summer at the Bow Wow Meow Ball, hosted by actress and Southampton resident Brooke Shields.
During the ball, architect Peter Marino will be honored with ARF’s Champion of Animals Award.
To raise awareness, funding and support for ARF and its canine and feline companions, this ball will benefit all areas of animal adoption for ARF.
“The Bow Wow Meow Ball will be a fantastic party. It’s a wonderful way to bring together supporters and help raise funds for ARF while having fun,” Board President of ARF Lisa McCarthy says.
Along with the festivities, renowned architect and longtime supporter of ARF Peter Marino will presented with the ARF Champion of Animals Award by ARF board members Katharine and William P. Rayner for his commitment to animal welfare and donations to ARF.
“This year’s event is truly a celebration as we honor Peter Marino who has helped ARF become what it is today, one of the leading animal shelters on Long Island,” McCarthy says.
The Bow Wow Meow Ball takes place on Saturday, August 15, with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner and dancing at 7:30 p.m. at the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott.
The evening will also include a live and silent auction. All proceeds will benefit ARF and its commitment to help animals.
Tickets for the Bow Wow Meow Ball start at $500 and are available at arfhamptons.org.
