Super Saturday Returns for 18th Hamptons Summer

This summer marks the 18th year of Super Saturday, the biggest fashion event in the Hamptons. Benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, this upscale “yard sale” features attire and accessories from over 200 designers at up to 50% off of the retail price.

Sponsored by QVC, and hosted by East Enders Kelly Ripa of Live with Kelly and Michael and Donna Karan, Super Saturday is one of the most glamorous social events of the season. The event takes place under huge tents on the beautiful fields of Nova’s Ark Project off Scuttle Hole Road in Water Mill. Guests can expect to shop alongside countless stars, and oftentimes next to the designers themselves.

“I’ve been gifted. A blessing has been given to me and I have to give back,” noted Karan last summer about her desire to help the community. Karan is also the founder of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy (UZIT) program, an innovative initiative available at Southampton Hospital, among other locations, that strives to fill a void in healthcare, treating the whole patient—including people indirectly affected by trauma—and not just the disease.

The 18th annual Super Saturday will feature booths from fashion’s most elite designers, including Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren, Vince, Brooks Brothers, Shoshanna, Tommy Hilfiger, Dooney & Bourke, and Zimmermann—just to name a few. Super Saturday’s organizers and sponsors also provide each guest with one of the summer’s finest goody bags when the sale concludes.

The day is even fun for the kids, who can enjoy various children’s activities and carnival rides while the adults shop, visit the luxury experience tents, and sample an array of fine food and drinks.

All proceeds from the sales of merchandise, tickets and tables go toward funding the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s programs. The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is the largest and oldest U.S. charity funding research on ovarian cancer.

Super Saturday 18 is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill. An exclusive preview shopping event at noon is also available for VIPs.
