USA network series Royal Pains is back in the Hamptons to film its upcoming eighth season at the same time an independent feature film is being shot here.
The independent film is Blue Blood & Broke, “a coming of age story set in East Hampton about loving every part of yourself; the good, the bad, and the ugly,” according to a casting call. The protagonist, Phil, inherits a crumbling mansion in the Hamptons that the neighbors wish to see torn down. It is a romantic comedy. The story is by Philip Embury, who also directs.

Royal Pains, starring Mark Feuerstein, is about a concierge doctor serving the rich Hamptons denizens while also lending a hand to the underserved.
Royal Pains is currently filming on the beach in Hampton Bays.
